We help you, designers of clothing, accessories, baby and children’s products, T-shirts, and jewelry, take your creative ideas and start and run a a viable business. We concentrate on the business side of your line so you can focus on the creative part. You have a choice between one-on-one business coaching, on-demand online classes (through video and audio), virtual Bootcamps, live seminars and workshops, and intensive VIP days. We also provide direction and for clients… what to focus on first, second, and so on. We work mainly with small, independent companies and start-ups. There are a lot of moving parts when you design a line and we give you a targeted framework for your business.

Do you help with manufacturing?
Jane personally focuses mainly on the topics above. We also partner with other experts to help you with manufacturing and product development in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and North Carolina.
We work with entrepreneurs who have a creative idea and wants to turn it into a viable business – or see if there is potential to do so. Our clients are typically great at designing clothes, jewelry, handbags, accessories, t-shirts, childrenswear, etc. but tend to struggle with how to manage the business and financial side of things. Many of our clients don’t have a fashion design background and want to get up to speed FAST on the industry and what they need to know to compete. You can choose how you want you work with us; through a bootcamp, on-demand Online class, private coaching, etc. Our private coaching services are not for everyone, however. We look for clients who are really serious about their business, who are prepared to take honest, constructive feedback, do the work, and shorten the learning curve on how to start and run a fashion business.
Yes. We understand how overwhelming it can be when you think you have something good in your head but have so many questions. What is the first step? How do I get samples made? What business licenses do I need? Do I need a corporation or an LLC? Where do I look for fabrics and trims? How much money will I need? We have been there before and can give you a step-by-step, detailed plan to get your business started. 1st step, think hard about your goals for your business, 2nd step, set up the legal entity, 3rd step, how to find sources, etc. etc. We teach what you need to know in a very specific order so you can do one thing, check it off, and move on to the next task.
What if I already have a business but cannot seem to make a profit?
We are perfect for you. We will do a “Reality Check” on your business and see what the issues are. We will look into your costs, your pricing, check your P & L line by line, how you keep your books, which items in your line are most cost-effective to produce and how to increase them, your margins, your marketing message, your customer, your competition, shifting the way you work, etc. We will help you get over the hump, get focused, stay accountable, and find the hidden opportunities for making money – they’re always there when you know where to look.
Do I need to be located near you?
No, we work with entrepreneurs all over the country (and the world), by phone and through online webinars etc, so geography is not a concern. We work with all different clients – from Los Angeles to Peoria to Mozambique to the South of France to Australia to Dallas and anywhere in between.
Do you take credit cards and do you have a payment plan?
Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We also offer payment plans for many of our products, workshops and programs. The truth is, if we stop you from making some of the common business mistakes that cost you time and money – you will make your investment back easily. Frankly, you’ll learn a ton and will be way ahead of the curve.
